In this sequel, the Abbott family face the terrors of the outside world, following the tragic events that occurred previously at their home. Venturing into the wild unknown, they each quickly come to the realisation that the alien creatures, hunting any form of sound, are not the only deadly threat on the prowl. A Quiet Place 2 has recently been released to cinemas and certainly boasts more positives than negatives.
Kate Macer (Emily Blunt), a young and somewhat inexperienced FBI Agent is recruited onto a covert government task force, which has been formed to assist in the escalating war against drugs on the border between the United States and Mexico. Given very little information about the methods and eventual targets of the task force, she soon comes to the realisation that their means of doing things are extremely unorthodox. A widely favoured film that was originally released in 2015 and landed a sequel not long after that.
Two parents must do whatever it takes to keep their children safe and as far away from the fearsome and murderous creatures that are seemingly roaming earth as possible. Consequently, the entire family are forced to live in total silence while remaining hidden away from the monsters that have ultra-sensitive hearing but no vision at all. A tremendously unique and gripping film that has fans eagerly awaiting the release of part two.
