Bill Baker (Matt Damon) travels all the way from Oklahoma in the United States to Marseille in France, to try and help his estranged daughter Allison Baker (Abigail Breslin), who has been imprisoned for a crime that she claims to be innocent of. Along the way, new relationships are formed, and old relationships are strained, in this emotionally striking drama. A really good and at times thought-provoking film that has recently been released to cinemas.
In this sequel, the Abbott family face the terrors of the outside world, following the tragic events that occurred previously at their home. Venturing into the wild unknown, they each quickly come to the realisation that the alien creatures, hunting any form of sound, are not the only deadly threat on the prowl. A Quiet Place 2 has recently been released to cinemas and certainly boasts more positives than negatives.

An unbelievably hyped movie that has finally hit the big screens over the past week or two, but a complex one that definitely requires a second viewing to be fully appreciated.

A really effective and at times emotional drama that is worth every bit of the modest one-hundred and seven-minute runtime.Continue reading
