The Lighthouse (2019) – Review

Two lighthouse keepers attempt to maintain their sanity while living on a remote, secluded and mysterious New England island in the 1890’s. For four weeks, the men will only have themselves for company, will they crack under the pressure of isolation and allow their tension and hatred towards each other to boil over? Definitely one of the finest cinema releases of 2019 and one that is definitely worth a watch.

The group, however, discover a demonic section of the cabin and accidentally summon a demon that lives in the wooded area nearby. The youngsters must then do their best to fight off the demonic monster before it destroys everything in sight. Not the worst of remakes and a thoroughly enjoyable modern day horror movie.

I See You (2019) – Review

A detective and his family are terrorised by some rather strange and bizarre occurrences that seem to be unexplainable. While juggling these issues with the disappearance of a young boy in the small town they live in, things quickly become more complicated and far more sinister after the emergence of two local “phroggers”. An impressive release that has to go down as one of the best movies I’ve seen in recent months. I See You is currently streaming on Netflix.
